Overview
A documentary about Elizabeth Holmes, the Theranos founder convicted of fraud. With just over a month left before she reports to prison, Holmes lets a film crew follow her daily life, and what starts as a close-up portrait of a famous felon turns into a three-year project that blurs the line between record and performance. Directed by Lance Oppenheim and Nathan Fielder, with Amanda Seyfried and Christopher Abbott playing Holmes and her partner Billy Evans in staged scenes. Opened in US cinemas on 16 October 2026 after premiering at Telluride, and reaches UK cinemas on 20 November 2026.
